Physical Education optional enrolment starts on 8th February 2023
Monday, January 23, the schedule of sports for the summer semester 2023 is released. Among the sports listed there are a number of new ones:
Fitness activities - more sessions:

- Mobility work
For winter semester graduates, there is an extended sports offer:
- Massage and Regeneration 2
- Latin Pair Dance 2
- Dancing in Sneakers 2
Brand new:
- Football - BUT rep team
- Nordic walking
Students are advised to study the offer carefully and familiarize themselves with the sports in the course card in IS before enrolling.
Enrolment in optional courses is organized in two rounds, all dates are published in the summer semester 2023 timetable (https://www.cesa.vut.cz/studenti/plany). At the time the IS is opened, students are able to cancel their enrolled sports if there is a conflict with the faculty schedule. The vacant spots will be used by others interested in the sport.
The most important dates:
Opening of electronic registration – 1st round: 8.2. 12:00 p.m. – 11.02.2023
Teaching: 13.2. – 5.5.2023
Opening of electronic registration - 2nd round (cancellation of registration by a TV student and freeing up places for other interested parties): 19.2. 12:00 p.m. – 21.02.2023
Erasmus Sport offer is designed for foreign students, lessons are in English.
BUT sports representations have face to face enrolment - recruitment training is organized similar to the BUT University Leagues (badminton, floorball, volleyball). It includes training for the Czech Academic Games in Olomouc and university sports competitions, EUSA, FISU, etc. Athletes with high sports performance are advised to contact the sport guarantors.
Lessons start from 13.2.2023 unless there is note for seasonal sports (from 27.2.2023; sports outside the BUT sports facilities - swimming pool, ice rink).
Moreover, BUT students can use the free capacity of the sports complex Pod Palackého vrchem in their free time (fitness running, inline skating, workout training). Admission is free of charge, students have to present their valid ISIC card at the reception and follow the Operating Regulations and the instructions of the staff of the Campus Administration while participating in BUT free time sport activities.
