BUT supports university sport in all its forms and creates conditions for student athletes to combine their studies with sport performance or elite sport.

UNIVERSITY COMPETITIONS

Full-time students (bachelor, master and doctoral studies) can represent BUT at national and international academic competitions (SPVS):

University Sports Competitions (USC) are announced annually by the Czech Association of University Sports (CAUS): the Academic Championships of the Czech Republic (AM CR) in almost 50 sports and sports activities, the Czech Academic Games (CAH), the European University Championships and the European University Games (EUSA), the Academic World Championships (AMS) and the World University Cups and World University Games (summer and winter).

Furthermore, long-term competitions in selected sports are announced (by CAUS) - University Leagues, Study and Play. BUT is the organizer of regional non-masters’ competitions - amateur university league in badminton, floorball, volleyball and national league in fencing and beach volleyball.

Every year BUT athletes travel to one of the international student tournaments abroad (volleyball, basketball, futsal - guarantors of sports).

Events and tournaments in the sports facilities of the BUT, which are also in the calendar of EUSA or in CESA offer (Sports Week at the BUT, Autumn Hit), are of a recreational character.
