Sports at BUT during the holidays


INFORMATION ON THE OPERATION of the BUT sports complex Pod Palackého vrchem, Technická 14:

Operating hours of the complex:

  • Monday - Friday: 7:00 - 20:00
  • Sunday: 14:00 - 20:00


Please follow the instructions of the complex administration staff and the Complex Operating Rules.

ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES FREE

entry to the area always upon presentation of a valid student or employee ID.
there is a social facility in the locker room (WC, changing rooms)

IN LINE SKATING

asphalt sidewalk around both stadiums,
asphalt area next to the F1 test gym.

DISC GOLF

freely accessible baskets located in the boulder arena.

CONDITIONING RUNNING - individual running preparation

2 athletic tracks;
during the main athletic training sessions, use the track in the upper stadium,
Do not run in the first track!!!!!

WORKOUT - individual exercise

the field is always accessible during the sports area's operating hours;
in bad weather (wet workout field, rain) exercise is not possible (see Operating Rules).

WORKOUT - exercise with furniture and the possibility of consulting a CESA teacher (container: TRX, punching bags, dumbbells, ropes, cart, bags, dumbbells, vests, etc.).

  • Tuesday: 16:00 – 18:00
  • Wednesday: 16:00 – 18:00

PAID SPORTS ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS, EMPLOYEES AND THE PUBLIC (TENNIS, VOLLEYBALL, BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL - see Price List)

The free capacity of the entire area (outdoor and indoor sports fields) can be used for recreational and performance / competitive activities based on long-term orders or online registrations:
  • MON – FRI, SUN: tennis, 3 artificial grass courts;
  • MON - FRI, SUN: ball sports (multipurpose stadium)

Trainings of Brno athletics clubs are taking place in a special regime with financial support from MMB.

SENIORS (Senior in shape, Senior Academy - see Price List) from 23.6. until 29.8.2025

Wednesday: 9.00 – 10.00, outdoor playground (in case of inclement weather, indoor exercises)

WINTER SEMESTER 2025

The semester schedule for the optional subject Physical Education for the winter semester 2025 will be published from 1.9.2025, electronic registration for the 1st round will open on Wednesday 17.9.2025.
SPORTS WEEK AT BUT will take place from 15.9. – 21.9.2025 – demonstrations of selected sports, free sports, events, tournaments. Information and registration on the CESA website from 1.9.2025.
The offer of possibilities for using sports areas for leisure activities of BUT students and employees for the winter semester 2025 will be published on the CESA website from 10.9.2025.
