- The concept of low-energy, passive and "zero" house; legislation and requirements
- Survey of technical services – heating systems
- Survey of technical services – hot domestic water (HDW) preparation
- Survey of technical services – ventilation and air-conditioning
- Alternative energy sources and their impact on the overall energy balance of buildings, economic efficiency of energy saving measures and selected building technologies
- Economical aspects of a building operation within its life-cycle, investment and operational costs of buildings
