Mountain Biking
CESA-TV-HKAcad. year: 2025/2026
The lessons will focus on acquiring basic MTB skills and maneuvers on trails and in the terrain. Rides around Brno will focus on developing proper riding technique and basic elements of technical riding:
• position and balance (descending and ascending)
• speed control (braking, shifting, cadence)
• terrain reading
• turning (deflected and banked turn)
• pitching the front and rear wheels
The lessons will take place in the form of block rides every Friday. In the event of EXTREMELY BAD WEATHER, the lessons will take place on an alternate date.

“We would like to inform students that during sports lessons, physical contact may occur between teachers and students to ensure corrections in the execution of exercises, movements, game activities, or for the purpose of assistance or health protection. If students do not wish to have physical contact, they must inform the teacher in advance, but they assume responsibility for possible health damage. "

Credits - controlled attendance, registration of attendance in the attendance sheets. Active participation in the lessons. Two unexcused absences are allowed.
Aims
Physical activity in nature, mental relaxation, improvement of physical condition, increase of aerobic and anaerobic performance and technical riding skills.
