Experimental Methods
FSI-IEMAcad. year: 2026/2027
The course focuses on the measurement of physical quantities in environmental engineering, hydraulic machines, and energy equipment, with particular attention to measurement principles and the characteristics of sensors and instruments. The course also covers computer-aided measurement and data acquisition, as well as data processing, including error analysis and measurement uncertainties.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
To receive a graded credit, you must complete all lab exercises and submit well-prepared lab reports on time. The overall evaluation is based on a final test focusing on lecture topics. However, your practical skills in the lab and the quality of your reports will also be taken into consideration.
Aims
Students will acquire theoretical knowledge and learn to work with experimental equipment and computer measuring systems.
